ABSTRACT:
Project conducted while completing the Master of Arts in Geography. The main objective of this project was to use the Spatial Analysis tool Buffer Rings.
In this particular case the "rings" were applied to past earthquakes in California which magnitud was greater than 4.0 in 1997.
The rings represent a ripple effect and were set to measure 10 miles each, identifying the areas that were directly impacted by every event.
