ABSTRACT:

The main objective of these two maps was to display the existing land use opportunities, at the time, late 1990s, in the Evergreen area. Those land uses included were: Transit Oriented Corridors, existing Commercial nodes, Parks and Schools.

The map shows the interconectivity among these elements and how each and its radii of influence impacts the whole San Jose southeast region.

Major linkages are depicted by the main freeways, expressways and major arterials.

The area encompasses the Evergreen Planned Residential Community to the south, Alum Rock Transit Oriented Corridor to the north, Highway 101 to the west and San Jose City limits to the east.

Outputs:
The maps were created concurrently in both hand-drawn version and computer generated version, just because the client wanted it that way and it was an opportunity to show some of my skills.
