ABSTRACT:
Project conducted while completing the Master of Arts in Geography. The assignment incorporated the usage of aerial photography and data collection using a hand-held global positioning system (GPS) device. The main objective was to identify the location of the Emergency Blue Phones throughout San Jose Staté University campus.
Methodology:
Creation of San José State University building footprints.
Field data collection
Data transfer/conversion
Both the aerial photo and blue phone locations are georeferenced.
Building footprints extrude tool to create a 3D (tridemensional) effect
